Dr. Nico Katsanis is known from previous LMBBS Family Conferences for his interesting and engaging way of explaining what he has discovered about BBS and how to make sense of many of its complicated details. He is also known for an amazing number of results about BBS and an ambitious and hopeful set of goals. He is on the faculty in the Department of Cell Biology at the Center for Disease Modeling, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.
